Our Story

Nestled in historic downtown Concord, North Carolina, Gianni’s Trattoria was opened on the 4th of November 2008 by Proprietor Gianni and Executive Chef Heather Stadler. Relocating from the bustle of New York, it was their desire to open a locally owned neighborhood Italian Restaurant, based on Our interpretation of European style cuisine. It has been Our desire to have a quaint & comfortable setting where both neighbors and friends can come together over an uncomplicated dining experience. A place where staff and patrons alike can mingle & visit, a place where a simple meal can make you feel at home.

Our Vision

Our simple approach to food has been passed down through Our families for generations – use the finest and the freshest seasonal ingredients available to you. We strongly practice a time honored tradition of buying locally in support of Our fellow neighbors while honoring Our Italian heritage & importing Our favorite Prosciutto from Parma, or Truffle oil from Perugia. It is Our uncompromising vision to share the best of Italian palate with Our neighbors, through a simple marriage using both local and imported ingredients all delivered with the hospitality of home.
